Thought Process

Lots of input into different interests of the age group and also some potential ideas that have stemmed from that - to be developed later



I wanted to look into current Care Home activities which I found from various websites on the internet. It would be nice to offer something a bit different to the norm which creates a social atmosphere with plenty of interaction and activity.



Here are the initial advertising ideas thought of. I will pick out some ideas from this to develop further. I'll probably pick a TV advert as I do think I'll reach people through younger people. I'll also use demonstrations as I think once people try the Wii they become hooked! Other strong ideas are Saga Magazines, Newspapers and Post Office screens. The latter is good as music of their era can be played on the advert to entice sales. It depends on the game produced.

Part of the strategy can include things like: Senior-citizens discounts, full demonstration and set up free of charge and a separate controller with larger buttons, clear instructions and fonts.
